Legal basis
The office OSH audit is based on labour law:
- Art. 207 of the Labour Code – the employer is responsible for the state of health and safety at work,
- Art. 226 of the Labour Code – the obligation to assess and document occupational risk,
- Regulation on general OHS provisions – requirements for workrooms and workstations,
- Regulation on work with display screens – ergonomic requirements for office workstations.
An office OSH audit is a voluntary but recommended way of verifying working conditions. It is advisable to carry it out at least once a year, as well as before a PIP inspection or after changes in the office layout.
