In accordance with Article 21a(1) of the Construction Law of July 7, 1994:

“The construction site manager is obliged to prepare or ensure the preparation, before the commencement of construction, of a health and safety plan, taking into account the specific nature of the construction object and the conditions for carrying out construction works, including the simultaneous planning of construction work and industrial production.”

A Health and Safety Plan is prepared if:

During construction, at least one type of construction work listed in point 2 of Article 21a of the Construction Law will be carried out.
The planned construction work is expected to last more than 30 working days, and at the same time, at least 20 employees will be employed, or the labor intensity of the planned work will exceed 500 person-days.

Based on Article 21a(4) of the Construction Law, the Minister of Infrastructure issued a regulation on June 23, 2003, regarding information on safety and health as well as the safety and health plan. This regulation defines the scope and form of information concerning safety and health, the safety and health plan, and the detailed scope of types of construction work that pose threats to the safety and health of people.

The Health and Safety Plan (Plan BiOZ) should consist of three parts:

title page,
descriptive part,
drawing part.

The cost of preparing the Health and Safety Plan (Plan BIOZ) ranges from 1000.00 PLN net (+23% VAT) upwards and depends on:

the scope of the investment,
the extent of the document preparation.

Development of the document in accordance with accepted assumptions and after consultations with the Client,
The possibility to make corrections to the documents based on feedback provided by the Client,
Further consultations after the document has been implemented.
