During first aid training, we focus on engaging EVERY participant. We know that only the combination of practice with acquired knowledge can bring the expected results.

3 modules:

In this part of the training, we present the most important information in an interesting and accessible way regarding situations where first aid provided by witnesses often determines the life or death of the injured person.

  • Motivation for providing first aid
  • Legal aspects of providing first aid
  • Personal safety, safety of the injured person, and the scene of the incident
  • Assessment of basic life functions
  • Assessment of proper breathing
  • Reporting incidents to emergency numbers
  • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for adults
  • Life-threatening conditions and procedures in case of: e.g., burns, heart attack, stroke, seizures.

Each participant goes through the following training stations:

  • CPR with AED – What to do when a person is not breathing

At this station, we practice:

  • Checking for the presence of proper breathing and what to do in case of its absence.
  • Resuscitation and an international scheme to navigate through a traumatic situation.
  • Safe use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
  • Choking and Suffocation, Dealing with an Unconscious Person

Exercise includes transferring a person to the recovery position and maneuvers to clear the upper airways in the event of choking (using specialized equipment for this purpose).

  • Life-Threatening Conditions

We demonstrate how to deal with a person experiencing shortness of breath, chest pain, an epileptic seizure, symptoms of hypoglycemia (diabetes), and a person who has fainted. We indicate when to call emergency services.

Simulations take place during the practical part to best reflect the realities of a real-life incident. The extensive experience gained in Emergency Medical Services allows us to maintain the realism of a simulated incident at a particular workstation while preserving a positive atmosphere during the training.
